US Food Insecurity
When working on this project it was my first attempt effectively interpreting statistics from a design standpoint while communicating data in a digestible visual format.
Process
I took my research towards that of editorial design and illustration when it came to communicating these data sets. The information is meant to be received as a cover for the editorial then two spreads expanding on the context of the statistics across the United States.

This moodboard was particularly difficult to curate as the data can seem dehumanizing without visualization being the first step.
